    Hello,

I am writing from Australia and would love to know about sewing lace, particularly the fitted type bodices with the invisible seams. I have been sewing for many years, but would love to sew a lace fitted shirt. Can you recommend any books or pictures which show how this is done? I don’t really want a whole book, i.e. Bridal Couture, as I’m only interested in the sewing lace section.

Are there any websites where pictures can be downloaded?

    Kind Regards,

    Ann

    • Francesca says:

      • Valerie Gibson says:

Thankyou for getting back to me Francesca. I googled lace seam sewing and the University of Fashion website came up. They had a special for monthly access for $19.99, you clicked on this and it took you to a details page. I registered my name, email address, address except for my State , as this wouldn’t register, my credit card details, and expiry date. I had to tick the box if I accepted the contract terms. I don’t know now if this is a legitimate site. It had testimonials and the classes up on the site. It told me to access my email for log-in details.

I hope you can shed some light on this site if you are saying that yours isn’t up and running yet.

        regards,

        Val Gibson
